UTFG Art Submission

Let's paint and decorate our school carnival together!

UTFG: School Carnival is now accepting art submissions!
We sincerely invite all passionate creators to design posters or illustrations for this year's theme!
Your artwork could be featured in event publications, promotional materials, or even displayed in a physical location at the venue!

  • Posters: Selected entries will be printed and displayed at the event venue!
  • Illustrations:There is no restriction on style. Your artwork may be used in event publications and promotional materials (non-commercial use).

Submission Rules

I. Submission Guidelines & Eligibility

  • Submitted works must align with this year's UTFG - School Carnival theme. The UTFG Committee reserves the right to withdraw submissions if it deviates significantly from the theme.

  • All submissions must be suitable for all ages and does not contain explicit content.

  • Submissions must not include any elements of violence, hate speech, political or illegal content.

  • Entries must be submitted by individuals, not by groups or organizations.

  • Commercial works or pieces previously used for promotional purposes in other exhibitions/conventions will not be accepted.

  • Participation in the UTFG - School Carnival is not required to submit an entry.

  • The UTFG Committee reserves the final right to review and approve.

II. Artwork Specifications

  • Resolution: At least 300 dpi

  • File Formats: PNG, JPEG, PDF

  • File Size: Maximum 100MB

III. Submission Schedule

  • Submission Period: March 3rd, 22:00 ~ June 15th, 23:59, 2025

  • Finalist Annoucement: July 2025, Date TBA

IV. How to Enter

  • Submit your work via the UTFG official website. Your submission will only be considered complete once all required documents and files are received.

V. Selection Process

  • After the submission deadline, official judges will review and select several artworks to be used as the official visual materials for the event and venue decorations.

VI. Rewards & Recognition

  • Selected works will be showcased via various event materials and on the official website, including:
    1. Event publications (e.g. Conbooks)
    2. Promotional items (e.g. non-commercial souvenirs)
    3. On-site display/decorations (e.g., posters, signs, etc.)

Important Notes

VII. Submission Instructions

  1. Submitting participants must guarantee that their work(s) is original and does not infringe upon any portrait, name, or privacy rights.
  2. If the work(s) violates infringement, the UTFG Committee reserves the right to disqualify the participant.
  3. The submitting participant will bear full legal responsibility for any damage caused to the event organizers or third parties due to the infringements.


VIII. Intellectual Property (IP) Rights

  1. The submitting participants retain the copyright to their work but must agree that the organizers or authorized third parties can use the work for marketing and promotional purposes.
  2. Authorized uses include,but are not limited to:
    • Display or publication at the event (e.g., event brochures, posters, official websites, etc.).
    • Non-commercial promotional usage.
  3. Submitting participants agree not to claim moral rights over the work against the organizers.
  4. The UTFG Committee reserves the final right to interpret the event rules and regulations and has the right to modify or terminate this event. Any changes will be announced on the official website.
