UTFG Event Rules & Regulations

Rules of Conduct

Unfurgettable Taiwan Furry Gathering (hereinafter as UTFG)|Event Regulations
Important notice: The following context is an English translation of the original regulation written in Chinese. The original regulation documents have priority when referencing and invoked.

1. By registering for UTFG - School Carnival, you agree to abide by the event's rules and regulations.

2. Event Venue

  • The UTFG event area is accessible only to registered participants. Other areas must be used under the hotel's regulations.

3. Participant Badge Regulations

  • All participants must wear their participant badge and present it upon staff request.

  • Participants without a badge will be considered unregistered, and the organizer
reserves the right to request their departure.

  • If a badge is found to be used by someone other than its rightful owner, the organizer reserves the right to revoke both parties' participation and confiscate the badge.

4. Venue Usage Regulations

  • In case of damage and/or loss of hotel property or equipment, the hotel will request compensation from the responsible party according to its regulations.

  • Participants must conduct themselves in a manner that does not disrupt event order or safety regulations.

  • According to the Tobacco Hazards Prevention Act, smoking is strictly prohibited
throughout the hotel.

  • The use of inline skates, roller skates, skateboards, scooters, or similar equipment
is prohibited within the hotel and event areas.

  • Unless possessing a Disability ID or with prior approval from the organizer, participants are not allowed to bring or use electric vehicles, mobility scooters, or other powered devices.

5. Prohibited Actions

  • Harassment, malicious behavior, or any actions that cause discomfort to others
are strictly prohibited.

  • Election campaigns, political rallies, religious activities, and multi-level marketing
are not allowed within the venue.

  • Carrying dangerous or prohibited items and engaging in activities that may compromise public safety are strictly forbidden.

6. Headless (Fursuiter) Room

  • Access is limited to fursuiters and one accompanying assistant.

  • Photography and video recording are strictly prohibited inside the room.

7. Lost and Personal Belongings

  • Lost items will be announced on the official fan page.

  • If unclaimed within the specified period, the organizer will handle them at
their discretion.

  • Please take care of your valuables, as the organizer is not responsible for
their safekeeping or compensation.

8. Emergency Response

  • In case of an emergency, please follow the instructions of the event staff.

9. Violation Handling

  • Participants who violate these regulations and refuse to comply after being warned
or committing serious violations may have their participation revoked, their badge confiscated, and will not be eligible for a refund.

  • The organizer reserves the right to amend the rules and make final decisions based on the situation.

General Rules: Props Regulations

1. Costume Regulations

  • Participants' costumes must not reveal sexual characteristics or include any
sexually suggestive elements.

  • If the regulations are violated, the organizer reserves the right to ask participants
to adjust their costumes. In extreme cases, the participant may be asked to leave and will not be allowed to continue participating in the event.

2. Prop Regulations

  • Metal, sharp weapons, guns, and props longer than 1 meter are prohibited in the event area.

  • Any large props or equipment will require prior approval from the organizer before use and can only be displayed in designated areas.

  • If staff determines that a prop is dangerous or may affect others, they will ask
to remove it from the event area.

  • If the issue persists after a warning, the organizer reserves the right to ask
the participant to leave.


Fursuiter's Guidelines & Regulation

1. Fursuiters can only change in their hotel room or designated fursuiting areas. Changing in public areas or hotel restrooms is prohibited.

2. Fursuit Interaction Etiquette

  • When interacting with fursuiters, avoid making inappropriate gestures, using
offensive language, or engaging in disrespectful behavior.

  • Do not touch, bump into, or hug fursuiters from behind without consent, as it
may cause discomfort or injury.

3. Fursuiters may have limited vision, so please be mindful of their safety.

  • If you notice a fursuiter having difficulty moving or falling, assist them in standing
up and check if they need help.

  • If a fursuit's costume is out of place or becoming loose, gently remind the fursuiter
to adjust it.

4. If you feel unwell, prioritize your health. Feel free to remove your costume and rest or seek assistance from staff or nearby participants.


Photography & Videography

1. Please obtain their consent before taking photos of fursuiters; after taking the photos, inform them and express your gratitude to avoid any inconvenience caused by limited visibility.

2. Photos, videos, recordings, and other media files taken during the event are for personal use only and cannot be used for commercial purposes or other improper uses.

3. The use of photography tripods or stationary photography equipment is prohibited in the venue.

4. The area surrounding the event venue is a no-fly zone, and drones (aerial cameras) are strictly prohibited.

5. Panels

  • Photography and videography are allowed only with the panel host's consent.


Standardization and Interpretation Rights

1. The organizer reserves the final interpretation rights of the event rules and has the authority to modify the rules or handle violations as necessary.

2. For any matters not covered, please refer to the announcements made by the organizer on-site.
